As a Senior Product Manager in Open Banking, you will lead high-impact initiatives to enhance Monzo’s Open Banking initiatives. You’ll define the strategy and set a high bar for impact and execution, requiring complex stakeholder alignment and coordination across multiple cross-functional teams. You’ll partner with directors in Product, Engineering, Data, and Design to shape Monzo’s product strategy for Open Banking and drive innovation within the team as Monzo grows from 11 million to 20 million customers.
What you’ll be working on
- Work iteratively and collaboratively with design, engineering, research, data science, compliance and other teams to refine your plan and execute against it effectively.
- Champion the growth and evolution of existing Open Banking products at Monzo, such as Connected Accounts and Easy Bank Transfers.
- Lead the planning process and roadmap prioritisation, ensuring alignment within the team and with wider business goals.
- Shape the broader product strategy by sharing insights from your work.
- Participate in external Open Banking working groups, representing Monzo’s views on topics like commercial VRPs and multi-lateral agreements between participants.

- Lead the planning process and roadmap prioritisation to ensure alignment with team and business objectives.
- Create delightful experiences that solve user needs and pain points.
- Work with cross-functional partners (engineering, design, data, user research and marketing) to ensure projects are delivered on time and as planned, including with legal, compliance and regulatory affairs where relevant.
- Communicate effectively and inspire others with the product vision, sharing the right context with the right people at the right time.
