The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Proven Core Systems Expertise:5+ years of experience working within a digital product team, with a strong focus on back-end systems or platforms. Demonstrated expertise in product management within a software or technology company, with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborative Leadership:Experience collaborating effectively within a matrixed team setup, including offshore engineering teams. Proven ability to influence and coordinate across various digital product services.
  • Strategic Communication:Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate and advocate for the product vision and strategy, particularly within the context of back-end digital services.
  • Product Launch & Management:A proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products (front-end, back-end, or both) throughout their lifecycle.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving:Technically proficient with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:A strong data-driven approach to product prioritization, utilizing data and analytics to inform decision-making and roadmap development.
  • Technical Acumen:Comfortable engaging in technical discussions and understanding the nuances of backend systems. Possesses a strong technical mindset and a desire to delve into the intricacies of software architecture and development.
  • Educational Background:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.

This position is based in Dunton or Manchester, and it is expected the successful candidate will be able to attend the Dunton office or Manchester Business Centre for typically 4 days a week and remain flexible on the days they are required to attend the office according to business requirements.
