Responsibilities

• Support understanding of dimensional requirements and producibility
• Evaluate design proposals to reduce manufacturing lead time and costs
• Apply engineering tools for programme development
• Contribute to new tools and capabilities in the team
• Support Design for Manufacture (DfM) activities
• Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality functions

Skills

HND in Engineering discipline

Experience in mechanical assembly products

Familiarity with CAD/PLM/SAPCAMS

Knowledge of GD&T

Understanding of digital inspection
