A healthcare organization in Portsmouth is seeking a dynamic individual to lead procurement processes. This role requires a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply or an MBA holder in Strategic Procurement, with experience in public sector procurement and an ability to manage complex projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance and add value through collaborative partnerships. Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust provide a full range of procurement services to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (ICB). This includes Strategic and Category Sourcing for Commissioned Healthcare and non-Healthcare requirements and Operational Procurement. All procurement activity is undertaken in accordance with HIOWICB policies and governance arrangements
The primary client is Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the role may involve work/collaboration with Integrated Care System stakeholders within HIoW as well as neighbouring systems and Contracting Authorities.
