Job summary

A healthcare provider in London is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to manage medicines within a prison setting. Qualifications

  • Previous experience of working in a pharmacy.
  • Minimum of 4 years prison or hospital pharmacy experience (desirable).
  • Management experience (desirable).
  • 2 years mental health experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

  • Provide a medicines management service in prison.
  • Oversee the ordering/supply of repeat prescriptions.
  • Administer medicines safely and promptly.
  • Manage the entire medicines management process.

Skills

Good knowledge of working within a set of SOPs
Good oral and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills

Education

NVQ level 3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent
Registration with GPhC as a pharmacy technician
