Pay Rate: £33.30 per hour

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload, including Child in Need, Child Protection, PLO, Care Proceedings, and Private Law cases.
• Carry out holistic assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
• Use your professional judgment to make timely decisions in line with statutory guidance.
• Work closely with children, families, and multi-agency partners to achieve the best outcomes.
• Champion reflective, relationship-based practice and mentor less experienced team members.

You'll be working under the guidance of a highly experienced Team Manager and within a culture that genuinely supports professional development and good outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Registered Social Worker with Social Work England
• Minimum 4 years' post-qualified experience working with children and families
• Strong understanding of child protection legislation, safeguarding, and risk assessment
• Excellent communication, report writing, and IT skills
• A proactive, strengths-based approach to working with children and families
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
• Ability to work flexibly and meet statutory recording deadlines
