Qualifications

  • BTEC / NVQ Level 3 qualification in Pharmaceutical Science.

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Mon-Fri; apply with contribution to lates and Saturday on a rota basis

Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Team at the Private Care at Guys site, part of London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC. London Bridge Hospital is one of the UK's largest private healthcare hospitals specialising in complex and acute care.

As a Senior Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with Pharmacists, Technicians and assistants, and have day-to-day responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of the Aseptic unit and all staff within the unit. You will ensure chemotherapy is made in a timely manner and deliver a high standard of care for our Oncology Service. You will aid in the set-up of new medicines coming onto the market for manufacturing, environmental monitoring in line with QA and QC regulations, and play a vital role in line management and the training and development of rotational technicians.
