Job description
The Role

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 qualified Pest Control professional to act as our eyes and ears in the field.

This is a senior, authoritative role responsible for auditing sites, engineers, and procedures, ensuring full compliance, and maintaining the high standards expected at Environ Property Services.

The role involves ongoing monitoring, site evaluations, engineer audits, and targeted training where required. You will play a key role in ensuring engineers work the Environ way, spend the correct amount of time on site, and that our receive a consistent, compliant, and high-quality service.

This position requires strong decision‑making, confidence to challenge poor practice, and the ability to provide technical leadership and guidance across the business.

This is not a desk‑based role. This is not a reactive role only. This is not a position where standards are optional.

This role exists to protect the company, the engineers, and our clients by ensuring work is carried out properly, safely, and to the highest standard – every time.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must reside within 1 hour travel from Fulham, SW London
  • Level 3 Pest Management qualification (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong technical knowledge across domestic and commercial pest control
  • Proven experience auditing sites and / or engineers
  • Ability to assess time management and service quality objectively
  • Confident decision‑maker with a firm but fair approach with excellent attention to detail and report‑writing skills
  • Must be reliable and punctual, with a strong attendance record with a flexible approach to working hours, including early starts from 6am
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, Professional, authoritative, and consistent
  • Strong integrity – upholds standards even when unpopular and comfortable challenging poor standards when necessary – Approachable but firm
  • Highly organised and methodical, Solutions‑focused and proactive
  • Respected by engineers due to knowledge and experience
Site Auditing & Compliance
  • Audit commercial and residential pest control sites to ensure full compliance with :
  • Industry standards, Legal and environmental regulations
  • Internal Environ procedures
  • Produce detailed site audits, including :
  • Accurate site maps and layouts, Risk areas and monitoring points, Clear recommendations and actions
  • Assess whether sites have been allocated appropriate visit times and frequencies.
  • Identify sites where service levels need to be increased, reduced, or restructured.
Engineer Auditing & Monitoring
  • Conduct on‑site audits of engineers, including :
  • Time spent on site vs booked time, Quality and thoroughness of inspections, Correct use of materials, traps, and equipment, Report quality, accuracy, and completeness
  • Ensure engineers are working in line with the Environ way, not cutting corners or rushing visits.
  • Provide clear, firm feedback and take corrective action where standards are not met and
  • Escalate repeated or serious issues to management with evidence.
Training & Development
  • Deliver practical, on‑site training where gaps are identified, Support engineers with technical knowledge, best practice, and problem‑solving.
  • Identify wider training needs and make recommendations to management.
  • Act as a mentor and technical reference for engineers in the field.
Technical Support
  • Act as the go‑to person for technical advice on complex pest issues, Support engineers with difficult diagnoses, treatment plans, and proofing strategies.
  • Provide guidance on best practice solutions rather than short‑term fixes.
Reporting & Communication
  • Produce clear, structured audit reports with evidence and recommendations. Communicate findings confidently and professionally to engineers and management and maintain accurate records of audits, training provided, and compliance issues.

Fixed Hours with Overtime Options : Must be flexible to work from 6am – 3pm, and 8am -5pm, Monday to Friday.
