Job summary

An exceptional Educational Trust in England is looking for a Senior People Business Partner to provide comprehensive People services, including recruitment, performance management, and employee relations casework. This hybrid position requires strong Employee Relations experience and the ability to drive to various school locations in Surrey and Sussex. Candidates will enjoy a competitive annual salary between £52,549 and £55,182, a generous holiday allowance, and a flexible working schedule. Experience in education is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job description

A hybrid working position for a Senior People Business Partner within the People Team of an exceptional Educational Trust.

This role requires strong Employee Relations experience and will be working with School Senior Leaders and Trust Executives across Trust schools based in Surrey / West & East Sussex.

As the Senior People Business Partner you will deliver an excellent People service providing advice and support covering a full range of the employee lifecycle including - recruitment and selection, inductions, performance management, People/Employee Relations casework (grievances, disciplinaries, sickness absence etc.). Ensuring policies and procedures are kept in line with up to date employment legislation and best practice People principles and attending meetings with school leaders.

No previous experience of working within education is required, however this is highly advantageous.

The Trust welcome interest from experienced Senior People Business Partners as well as those wishing to step up into this role.

A hybrid working position with travel involved to the school within the Surrey/West Sussex/East Sussex area.

It is important to note, candidates must be able to drive and have access to a car as many of the schools are not accessible via public transport.
