Senior Payroll Specialist - 6 month contract - Hybrid - ASAP start - up to £300 per day

Oakleaf Partnership are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a global insurance firm, who are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their team, on a 6 month interim basis. The Senior Payroll Specialist will be a trusted expert, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery across their UK, and international entities. This role has the possibility to go permanent for the right individual, and 4 days in the office is required, for their central London office.

The Senior Payroll Specialist will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple international regions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
  • Work with CloudPay and Workday systems to process and reconcile payrolls efficiently.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external providers to resolve payroll queries promptly.
  • Produce and analyse payroll reports using Excel, ensuring accuracy and insightful reporting for management.
  • Review and help streamline payroll processes and structures, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support year-end activities and audits as required.
Key Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience managing international payroll
  • Experience managing payroll across multiple countries.
  • Experience of CloudPay and Workday payroll systems, would be beneficial
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised, able to work to tight deadlines, and comfortable in a fast paced environment
