A prominent healthcare provider in Manchester seeks an enthusiastic Radiographer for a permanent, full-time position. You will be responsible for high-quality imaging, mentoring staff, and adhering to radiation protection standards. Relevant qualifications and HCPC registration are essential. The salary ranges from £38,682 to £46,580 per annum, pro-rata, with opportunities for professional development.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and qualified Radiographer to join our dynamic, friendly team, to play a key role in maintaining and improving standards and quality of patient services. It is an exciting time to join our team, with a wide scale equipment replacement program in progress across the Trust. The post is based at the Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital, Oxford Road site and includes training if required and rotation through general X-ray, theatre and mobile imaging, fluoroscopy, CT/MR as necessary. The post holder will adhere to good practices of radiographic technique and abide by the acknowledged safe practices of radiation protection standards and trust procedure guidance. They will provide high quality radiographic images that will assist in patient diagnosis, treatment and management of care.
MFT is a busy teaching hospital and Major Trauma center with around 145,000 patients visiting our Emergency department each year. The Radiology department is evolving and offers the chance to develop skills in general radiography with rotation into CT & MRI and opportunities to progress into specialist areas.
