Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a part-time Locum Consultant Ophthalmologist with a special interest in medical retina. This role offers an opportunity to work within a thriving multidisciplinary team at the Royal Eye Unit, Kingston Hospital. You will provide outstanding patient care and take part in postgraduate education. Candidates must be GMC registered and possess relevant qualifications and experience. Salary ranges from £109,725 to £145,478 per annum pro rata.

Qualifications

• Possession of CCT or CESR in Ophthalmology.
• Completed at least one year fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery.
• Demonstrable commitment and ability to teach and train undergraduates and junior doctors.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class service in Ophthalmology with support from fellow consultants.
• Participate in postgraduate teaching of medical staff and undergraduates.
• Work closely with various medical and surgical colleagues.
