As a Senior Nuclear Engineer, you'll lead control system design and integration, mentor a growing team, and shape technical direction on high-impact projects.

As a Senior Nuclear Engineer, you will

• Promote and uphold nuclear safety behaviours across all projects.
• Lead and approve system designs, architectures, and specifications in line with client requirements.
• Manage system integration to ensure compatibility, performance, and compliance.
• Oversee system testing, validation, and commissioning activities, including on client sites.
• Deliver high-quality technical documentation (requirements, design specifications, test plans, operator manuals, etc.).
• Translate client requirements into functional and non‑functional specifications, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Act as a technical lead in discussions, identifying and resolving engineering challenges.
• Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency across projects.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge‑sharing environment.
• Contribute to bid processes, providing technical sign‑off and accurate estimates.
• Maintain strong client relationships through technical leadership in meetings and reviews.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, workshop, and project management teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Report progress, successes, risks, and recovery plans to stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

Experience & Knowledge

• At least 5 years' experience in systems engineering, preferably in highly regulated industries.
• Proficiency in relevant software packages (e.g., SCADA, PLC, HMI systems).
• Strong background in systems engineering principles and methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with system integration tools and processes.
• Familiarity with quality management systems, standards, and procedures.
• Exposure to software development and deployment in industrial environments.
• Experience working on client sites.
