Senior Network Architect Manager - Remote (UK wide)

We're looking for a senior network leader who can balance strategy with hands-on engineering. You'll own the design, operation, and evolution of global network infrastructure, driving performance, scalability, and security, while mentoring and guiding a skilled engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop network engineers, acting as the go-to escalation point
• Design, implement, and optimise enterprise LAN/WAN, cloud, and telecom solutions
• Stay close to the tech with advanced troubleshooting, automation (Terraform/Ansible), and cloud networking design
• Oversee network operations, performance monitoring, and capacity planning
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and drive DR/BCP readiness
• Manage vendors and major projects, ensuring delivery and cost-effectiveness

Experience / Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading enterprise network architecture and operations
• Deep expertise across LAN/WAN, firewalls, VoIP, and cloud networking
• Strong network security background with compliance knowledge
• Proven ability to guide strategy while remaining technically hands-on
• Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE/CCDP (or equivalent experience)
