Senior National Account Manager UK (Grocery/Retail) – Brand: Myprotein. Reporting: B2B Sales Director. Location: Manchester HQ, ICON, WA15 0AF. About THG Nutrition & Wellness: THG Nutrition & Wellness includes brands such as Myprotein (worlds largest online sports nutrition brand), Myvegan, Myvitamins and MP Activewear. We aim to empower healthier, more active lives and drive growth across our brands and people.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a dedicated portfolio of UK Grocery accounts, ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and achievement of growth targets.
  • Own key commercial objectives within assigned customers, aligning activities with the overall business strategy through proactive stakeholder relationship management.
  • Assess customer product mix to improve profitability, including marketing initiatives, complexity reduction, and cost-optimised product recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain joint business plans where relevant, aligned with business priorities.
  • Lead negotiations with buyers to secure optimal distribution levels and fixture space, prioritising profitable, high-volume SKUs.
  • Manage relationships across commercial, technical, and product development teams in a matrix environment.
  • Maintain forecast accuracy, collaborate with the demand planner, and support CSL and stock targets while feeding into financial planning.
  • Conduct annual reviews of customer account plans as part of the budgeting process for the upcoming year.
  • Implement agreed promotional plans within trade investment budgets and evaluate ROI on promotions.
  • Provide accurate rolling monthly sales forecasts and deliver a refined monthly demand plan.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in Account Management within the Food & Beverage or Grocery Retail sector.
  • Strong understanding of the UK retail landscape with a proven track record of delivering growth.
  • Knowledge or genuine interest in sports nutrition, health, or wellness products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, relationship-focused with experience building key customer partnerships.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with ownership of initiatives.
