Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in HVAC Design, within a consultancy or design and build contractor.
• Comfortable leading projects and mentoring less experienced Engineers.
• Some previous healthcare project experience, or complex ventilation experience.

Senior Mechanical Engineer - To £60K

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, expect to be involved in everything from upgrades or extensions to existing healthcare facilities to £300M, new-build general hospitals. You’ll be involved in the design, specification, and supervision of mechanical building services (HVAC) and work directly with end‑user clients, rather than just for contractors.

You’ll develop experience and knowledge of every stage of a building’s lifecycle, from feasibility, concept design, construction, post‑occupancy, and ongoing maintenance and operation.

Additionally, you’ll benefit from a CIBSE Approved Training and Development Program and ongoing training and development.

Progression will be straightforward as they only promote from within.

And you’ll be sitting next to Associate Directors and Directors who remain hands‑on and are always happy to help. Every member of their management team genuinely cares about the health and well‑being of every employee, and has created a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and mutual respect.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in HVAC Design, within a consultancy or design and build contractor
