As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering technically complex, high-performance data centre projects across Europe. This is your opportunity to lead from the front, influence design strategy, and work with some of the most respected names in the mission‑critical sector.

Responsibilities
  • Full mechanical design lifecycle from concept development to detailed design, construction support, and commissioning, covering HVAC systems, chilled water networks, CRAC/CRAH units, ventilation strategies, and fire protection systems.
  • Ensure designs comply with Uptime Institute Tier standards, ASHRAE guidelines, and local European regulations while pushing the boundaries of energy efficiency and resilience.
  • Support technical leads on major projects, manage client relationships, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently to build trust with clients and drive project success.
Qualifications

Strong background in mechanical building services, ideally with experience in mission‑critical environments. Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, IES VE, CFD software, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and energy modelling. Chartered status (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
