The Role

As Senior Account Director, you will serve as a strategic partner to leading brand clients, owning senior‑level relationships and driving commercial, operational, and digital marketing success across Amazon and other key marketplaces.

You’ll work closely with C‑suite and senior stakeholders to understand client objectives, shape high‑impact strategies, and ensure the organisation’s solutions become indispensable to their long‑term growth. This is a pivotal leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, marketplace expertise, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to influence at the highest levels.

Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Delivery
  • Drive adoption of the company’s technology, services, and data solutions across client accounts.
  • Hold ultimate accountability for client performance, ensuring KPIs, revenue targets, and strategic goals are met.
  • Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor across retail and paid media.
  • Inspire confidence with platform partners (e.g., Amazon, Walmart), and act as the expert voice in key discussions.
Account Strategy & Growth
  • Lead the development of robust commercial and digital growth strategies for major accounts.
  • Support clients in activating those strategies across retail, marketplace, and paid media channels.
  • Identify cross‑channel opportunities, champion new capabilities, and drive account expansion.
  • Partner with business development and leadership to educate clients on the full breadth of solutions available.
Leadership, Excellence & Influence
  • Develop best‑practice frameworks that elevate performance across the client portfolio.
  • Coach internal teams on marketplace strategy, digital media, and growth best practices.
You
  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior eCommerce or marketplace‑focused role with a strong track record of measurable success.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Hands‑on experience with Amazon and Walmart, with strong understanding of marketplace growth levers.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to craft and deliver sophisticated, cross‑channel growth solutions.
  • Genuine interest in emerging consumer and retail technologies, particularly the role of AI in transforming eCommerce.
