Job summary

A global environmental consultancy in the UK is seeking an experienced environmental consultant to deliver high-quality marine water/sediment quality assessments. You will work on Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and contribute to proposal writing within a dynamic Marine Ecology team. Candidates should have a relevant BSc or MSc and considerable experience in marine consultancy or other technical domains. Qualifications

  • 5+ years professional experience in marine consultancy or a technical marine field.
  • Good knowledge of the UK's marine biodiversity, including the EUNIS classification system.
  • Field work experience in sampling and data collection for offshore environmental surveys.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver reports on Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
  • Provide support in writing proposals and contribute to survey design.
  • Deliver WFD compliance assessments for UK and EU waterbodies.
