Job summary

A leading financial services provider is seeking a Senior People Advisory Manager for its London or Leeds office. This role focuses on delivering employee relations support, coaching managers, and managing external claims. Job description

You can work from either our London or Leeds office. We are in half the time, spending the other half working from home.

What You Will Deliver
  • Be responsible for the delivery of employee relations support to managers and colleagues through consistent and effective case management practices.
  • Proactively coach and support managers in handling the full range of employee relations matters, encouraging informal resolution where appropriate and ensuring alignment with policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of people policies and practices, supporting regular reviews and implementing updates where necessary.
  • Manage and coordinate external employment claims, balancing legal and business risk while upholding NewDay’s values and standards.
  • Implementation of organisational change and undertake colleague consultation activity.
  • Lead a team of 2 People Advisory Specialists to deliver commercially focussed advice.
What We're Looking For
  • Detailed understanding of employment law and employee relations practices, ensuring effective manage‑ment of related issues.
  • Exhibit strong self‑drive and the capacity to operate autonomously, achieving outcomes with limited oversight.
  • Fantastic capacity for verbal and written communication, proficient at presenting intricate information in a straightforward and impactful way.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and excel under pressure in a high‑energy, constantly evolving setting, sustaining concentration and efficiency in demanding circumstances.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in decision‑making that considers both business needs and legislative requirements in a balanced manner.
