Overview

Vero Recruitment has been exclusively appointed by a leading global business to recruit a Senior Management Accountant. Applicants must be based in Scotland, and available to travel to our client's Aberdeen office, initially on a weekly basis during the settling in period, and then fortnightly/monthly thereafter.

The role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in driving performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. This newly created role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful change, improve cost efficiency, and provide insight that directly shapes the performance of a global organisation.

Key duties

• Analysing financial transactions and preparing accurate management reports, including P&L statements, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, with a focus on cost efficiency and optimisation
• Collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver financial insight that supports operational and strategic objectives
• Ensuring compliance with statutory reporting, tax filings, payroll processes, and regulatory requirements
• Overseeing subsidiary finance activities including AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and fixed asset management
• Monitoring cash flow, managing intercompany transactions, and supporting process improvement initiative
