Job Description:

Shift pattern: 4 on/4 off days/nights

Our Warehouse Operation is an impressive, state-of-the-art, 2.5 million square foot Distribution Centre in Shirebrook, one of the most advanced warehouses in the UK. We are currently looking to expand our Warehouse Team with individuals passionate about continuous improvement and innovation.

You will support the Engineering Team and deputise for the Maintenance Shift Manager as needed. Your responsibilities include maintaining automated equipment to minimise downtime, supporting and managing shift activities, providing training and coaching, and ensuring safety and performance standards are met.

Qualifications include:

  • Engineering Apprenticeship, ONC/HNC, or equivalent
  • Experience with automated material handling systems
  • Experience in a senior engineering role with mentoring/leadership
  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic manuals & drawings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic control systems knowledge
  • Ability to work under time-critical conditions
