A leading UK law firm in London is seeking an experienced Senior Legal PA to support one partner and provide assistance to the Employment team. This role involves proactive diary management, client onboarding, and conducting administrative tasks. Candidates should have prior experience in a legal environment and be highly organised and proactive. A hybrid working model is offered, with a competitive salary of up to £55,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

  • Previous Legal PA / Secretarial experience within a law firm is essential.
  • Employment law experience (contentious and non-contentious) is highly advantageous.
  • Experience coordinating BD-related events or client initiatives.
  • Highly organised, proactive, flexible, and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

  • Proactive diary management.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of fee earners' matters.
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with clients.
  • Onboard new clients and draft engagement letters.
  • Conduct new matter and AML checks.
  • Co-ordinate administrative tasks.
  • Prepare bills including narratives.

Overview

Leading UK law firm in London is recruiting an outstanding Senior Legal PA to predominantly support one partner, while also providing support to 5 fee earners in the Employment team.

The ideal candidate will be super organised, proactive, and used to working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Benefits

  • 09:30-17:30 (Monday-Friday)
Responsibilities
  • Proactive diary management
  • Maintain up to date knowledge and a strong understanding of fee earners’ matters to be able to provide the best level support
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with both internal and external clients or contacts
  • Onboard new clients, open new matters, and draft engagement letters
  • New matter and AML checks including obtaining relevant documentation
  • Co-ordinate administrative tasks such as travel planning / expenses, monitoring inboxes, organising meetings, time entries, mail, and research
  • Prepare bills (including bill narratives)
Qualifications
  • Previous Legal PA / Secretarial experience within a law firm is essential
  • Employment law experience (contentious and non-contentious) would be highly advantageous
  • Experience coordinating BD-related events or client initiatives on behalf of fee earners within a Legal PA role
  • Highly organised, proactive, flexible, and a strong team player
