A bit about the job

We’re growing – and that means exciting opportunities. This is a high-profile role in a strategically important legal team supporting Aviva’s UKGI and Health Distribution business. You’ll work on a wide range of complex and high-impact matters, from broker and partner distribution arrangements to regulatory projects and transactions. The work is both advisory and transactional, giving you the chance to shape how we do business and manage risk. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across Legal, Compliance, and the wider business – all while helping us deliver first-class legal support in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Skills and experience we’re looking for
  • Qualified Solicitor with experience in general insurance distribution contracts, including TOBAs, schemes, and partnership agreements
  • Strong knowledge of general insurance regulation and the ability to work closely with compliance teams to manage risk
  • Commercially minded with a strategic outlook – you see the bigger picture and help others do the same
  • Confident managing projects, negotiations, and competing stakeholder interests
  • Excellent communicator with a collaborative approach to working with internal and external partners
  • Able to work at pace, adapt quickly, and deliver high-quality advice in a dynamic setting
