The Digital Education Enhancement (DEE) team in DES is the cornerstone of our mission to revolutionise the student learning experience through innovative technology. Comprised of expert Learning Technologists stationed across various faculties, the DEE team acts as both practitioners and advisors, pioneering the integration of cutting‑edge technology with modern educational practices. Our approach is deeply rooted in robust learning theories, supported by a wealth of empirical evidence that guides the effective use of learning technologies. We strive to harmonise the latest in technology with evolving learning theories and the practical aspects of educational practice, fostering a collaborative environment with academic staff. This partnership aims to create a seamless, engaging, and enriching learning journey for students, making education more interactive, accessible, and impactful. Responsibilities

The Senior Learning Technologist plays a strategic role within Digital Education Enhancement, leading the development of cutting‑edge digital learning solutions. You will provide expert pedagogical and technical advice, oversee the design and development of e‑learning resources, and lead training and development initiatives for staff. This role is critical in ensuring the continuous improvement of digital education practices, aligning with the University's commitment to providing an exceptional learning environment.
