Job summary

A UK-based Geospatial Surveying specialist is seeking a Senior Land Surveyor in the Greater London area. The role involves conducting topographical surveys, mentor team members, and using advanced surveying equipment including total stations and GPS systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong grasp of CAD software and geospatial data. Night shifts are primarily scheduled from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Thursday. A full UK driving license is required for this position.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in conducting land, topographic, and boundary surveys.
  • Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS/GNSS systems, and laser scanners.
  • Strong understanding of surveying principles, mapping techniques, and geospatial data.
  • Must hold a full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

  • Production of CAD Drawings from Survey Data.
  • Ensure QA/QC Compliance.

Senior Land Surveyor

London

Our client is a UK based Geospatial Surveying specialist who delivers digital mapping, laser scanning and data capture services for major infrastructure and built‑environment projects, combining expertise, innovation and high‑quality data to support planning, design and construction.

They are now on the lookout to secure a Senior Land Surveyor in the London region which is predominantly working night shifts (8am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday).

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for undertaking topographical surveys
  • Total station and GPS/GNSS observations
  • Working with the latest technology - Stream Up
  • Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties that may arise
  • Mentor and train less experienced team members as and when requiredManagement and maintenance of survey equipment
  • Production of CAD Drawings from Survey Data
  • Post Processing of GPR Data in GREDHD and IQ Maps
  • Assistance in the overall development of the survey department
  • Adherence to Company manuals and processes
  • Ensure QA/QC Compliance
Key Requirements
