Job summary

A leading civil consultancy in Manchester is seeking a senior infrastructure engineer to manage and deliver a range of civil projects. The role involves mentoring junior engineers and working on drainage and highways. Applicants should have experience from project feasibility through to construction and be competent in relevant software. This position offers a salary of £45k-£52k with bonuses twice a year and hybrid working flexibility.

Manchester (hybrid working 2 or 3 days from home)

We are pleased to be working with a well established civil consultancy in an exciting stage of growth, with a strong portfolio of clients and projects and solid pipeline into next year.

We are now recruiting a senior infrastructure engineer to assist in the design and delivery of a range of medium/large infrastructure and associated civil projects across sectors including residential, commercial, industrial.

Whats on offer

Salary c45k-52k

Bonus paid twice yearly

About the role and you

• Manage projects and guide/mentor more junior engineers
• Deliver projects from initial feasibility stage, through planning and detail design to construction stage
• Work as part of a team specialising in drainage, highways, and development infrastructure, working closely with Transport and Flood Risk teams
• Developing and overseeing Concept and Detailed Drainage Strategies/Levels Strategies and Earthwork Appraisals
• You should be competent in softwares such as Microdrainage/Causeway Flow/Civil3D
• Experience in pre-planning and planning stage projects as well as a strong understanding of detail design and technical approval (S104, S38, S278, etc).
