Senior Infrastructure Engineer

On behalf of DWP, we are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a 6 months Inside contract based Hybrid Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, Leeds, Blackpool

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active SV clearance.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:

• Essential: Palo Alto Firewalls
• Experience with VXLAN overlay technology, EVPN and multi-site fabric architectures and VRF segmentation (Arista technologies desirable.
• Implement and troubleshoot dynamic routing protocols, in particular complex OSPF and BGP environments for optimized traffic flow and redundancy.
• Experience with Load Balancing technologies and modules (F5 ASM, APM, LTM BIG IP)
• Experience in network project delivery
• Experience and successful track record of operation of products, services and techniques used to operate network services in large scale organisations
• SC clearance.
