Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD).
• Needs to complete MSc or equivalent in Immunology within 3 months of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Perform, interpret, and authorize Immunology investigations.
• Lead and support service improvement and innovation projects.
• Supervise laboratory operations and staff.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of laboratory techniques

Working knowledge of Pathology IT systems

Knowledge of ISO15189 standards

Knowledge of relevant legislation and Health & Safety measures

Education

HCPC Registration

FIBMS, MSc or equivalent in Immunology or Biomedical Science
