Qualifications

• Extensive post graduate experience in the NHS working with high risk diabetic feet Podiatry.
• Knowledge of national policy relating to diabetic foot.
• Experience of multi-disciplinary working.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist footcare for patients with complex high-risk foot problems.
• Manage and treat high risk complex caseload.
• Provide education and upskilling for clinical staff in diabetes care.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of diabetes and vascular complications

Sound knowledge and experience in wound care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Diploma/BSc (Hons) in Podiatry

HCPC Registration

Certificate in local anaesthesia
