Senior Healthcare Support Worker

York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals to work in this developing service, who have an interest in supporting registered staff to provide effective rehabilitation and discharge planning.

Waters Ward is a 28 bed stroke and general rehabilitation unit. As a Senior Healthcare Support Worker on Waters Ward, you will be part of a multi‑professional team providing high standards of care to our patients. You will maintain and promote patient independence and dignity to ensure each patient receives a positive experience. As a Senior Healthcare Support Worker, you will be expected to work a combination of shifts including nights, weekends and Bank Holidays:

  • Early - 07:30-15:30
  • Late - 12:30 - 20:30
  • Night - 20:15 - 07:45

Interviews for this position will be held in person ONLY at the hospital site. Remote interviews will not be available.
