About the Role

Goodwill Healthcare Services Limited is seeking multiple experienced and enthusiastic Senior Healthcare Assistants (SHCA) to join healthcare settings within Middlesbrough, Redcar, and Stockton-on-Tees surrounding areas, on a rota and shift basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level support to residents, including Activity of Daily Living (AoDL) support.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct risk assessments and create care plans for service users.
• Assist with team management and support other staff.
• Maintain effective written and verbal communication.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 6 months working as a Senior Healthcare Assistant in a UK care or nursing home setting.
• Experience with medication administration, documentation, and risk assessment.
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
• Effective communication with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Driving licence (preferred but not essential).

Training and Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent.
• Medication Certificate and Mandatory Healthcare Certificate (theory and practical).
