Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Senior Healthcare Assistants (SHCAs) to join our growing team. You will be working in residential and / or nursing home settings, supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily needs and ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Supporting with mobility and transfers, including using hoists and other equipment
  • Monitoring and recording observations, such as fluid intake, temperature, and behavior
  • Promoting independence and providing emotional support
  • Assisting with mealtimes and nutrition needs
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns to senior staff
  • Working effectively as part of a team and following care plans

Must have prior experience assisting with Care Plans

Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months UK experience working as a Senior Healthcare Assistant in a care or nursing home setting
  • Prior experience with Care Plans
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to care
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Up-to-date mandatory training (or willing to complete)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
