A construction company located near Aberdeen is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to oversee safety protocols and compliance on major projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of construction experience and a Tech IOSH membership. Responsibilities include promoting a positive safety culture, assisting with risk assessments, and leading training initiatives. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction with Major Projects (civil/infrastructure).
• Demonstrable robust background in construction, marine experience is an advantage.
• Experience of implementing Behavioural Based Safety Initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of the Health and Safety Policy and Strategy.
• Ensure project compliance with statutory legislation and industry best practice.
• Assist in the preparation of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Promote behaviours key to a positive health and safety culture.
• Assist with investigations of accidents and incidents.

Skills

Excellent communication skills in English

Ability to influence project team and stakeholders

Strong interpersonal skills

Computer literate (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)

Education

Tech IOSH membership working towards Grad/CMIOSH status
