Task Lead – Geotechnical Engineering

Access have partnered with a global civil engineering and geotechnical consultancy who are expanding their Geotechnical Engineering team in the UK. Our client operates in over 50 countries worldwide, employing close to 60,000 people across a wide range of sector and services disciplines including transportation, defence, geotechnical and environmental engineering and oil and gas. Our client is currently undertaking a global recruitment drive, particularly in the competitive Geotechnical and Environmental teams in the UK – due to several contract wins

The successful candidate will be expected to fulfil Task Lead and Project Checker tasks on large scale infrastructure projects, getting involved with design and design analysis processes from start to finish. The role will include the mentoring of junior staff and therefore good communication skills are essential. Candidates should have the right flare and ability that will help my client develop and expand their infrastructure geotechnics capability by building on the existing portfolio of our rapidly expanding, flexible and outward looking team that can tackle work across a broad spectrum of sectors.

To qualify for the role, candidates MUST:

• Be a Chartered Engineer
• Have a degree in Civil Engineering or a similar relevant topic
• Be based in or be will be to relocate to the Bristol area
• Have a strong and clear communication style
• Have the right to live and work in the UK
