Qualifications

• Qualified geologist to master's degree level or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the aggregate industry.
• Ability to produce quarry designs and plans using LSS.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house geological advice to aggregates and Land Development.
• Produce detailed working schemes to support planning submissions.
• Manage the Land Search process with the Acquisition Team.

Skills

Knowledge of Geological settings and characteristics of UK Aggregates

Competent in the use of GIS Systems

Demonstrable knowledge of LSS

Knowledge of Legislation/Regulations related to Geotechnical Management

Knowledge of CDM regulations

Full UK driving licence

Education

Master's degree in Geology or equivalent
