Qualifications

  • full GMC registration with a licence to practise including Specialist Registration or within 6 months of completing CCT.
  • Section 12 approved or able to achieve within 3 months.
  • MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
  • Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 17 adult inpatients with various psychiatric diagnoses.
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to treatment planning.
  • Comply with legal obligations covering clinical practice.
  • Teach and supervise medical staff and other professionals.
  • Provide clinical leadership and participate in governance processes.
