An established consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Fire Safety Engineer to strengthen their growing fire engineering team. This is a great step for someone with solid experience in fire engineering who wants more responsibility, variety, and clear progression opportunities.

The Opportunity
  • Lead and deliver fire engineering projects from concept through to completion.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
  • Develop fire strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Liaise confidently with clients, design teams, and approving authorities.
  • Contribute to team performance targets and support project financials.
  • Carry out site inspections and offer design input at key project stages.
What We're Looking For
  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Fire Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Professional membership (e.g., IFE, CABE, or CIBSE) with a commitment to IEng/CEng status.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire safety standards and engineering principles.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and support/mentor team members.

  • Willingness to travel as required.
