Job summary

A leading financial services provider is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant for a 6-month contract with potential extensions. The role involves preparing statutory accounts, managing corporation tax, and contributing to statutory audits. Ideal candidates are qualified accountants (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with financial services experience and strong Excel skills. The position allows hybrid working, with 2 days a week in the office, based in South-West London.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with financial accounting experience.
• Experience in preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax.
• Familiar with auditing processes and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Senior Financial Reporting Accountant - 6 Month Contract

Pay Rate: £425 - £500 per day via umbrella

Hybrid Working 2 Days a week in the office.

Location: South-West, London

Overview

A leading financial services provider specialising in vendor and equipment finance is looking for a senior financial accountant to join on an interim basis.

The firm operates across multiple industries, including Technology, Transport, Construction, Healthcare, Public Sector, and Agriculture.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA), with financial accounting experience within financial Services,
• Prior experience in preparing statutory accounts is essential
• Prior experience at preparing corporation tax.
• Experience of having played an active role in the day to day running of statutory audits and liaising accordingly with auditors/internal finance team to deliver to an agreed timetable of work.
• Be proactive/able to work independently with very limited training or assistance
• Hands on approach to preparing schedules and audit samples with good Excel skills, familiar with formulas, such as Sumifs, Pivot table, Lookups
