Job Description

The Senior Financial Accountant will:

• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with accounting standards.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process for the accounting & finance team.
• Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in financial reporting and compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an accounting & finance team.
• A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements
