Arthur is exclusively partnered with a leading London (Re)Insurer undergoing a period of change and transformation. They are looking to utilise modern AI tools to create efficiencies within their Data Workflows and Finance Processes.

This individual will support their Head of Finance Transformation, Head of Data, and Head of Change to manage and implement finance change initiatives, designing and testing those solutions.

The organisation is seeking a skilled Insurance Technical Accountant with strong data analytics skills and experience in end-to-end finance change as a Project Manager or Lead.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic planning of the Finance transformation roadmap and the prioritisation and management of all aspects of Finance projects and improvement initiatives
2. Project management of Finance transformation initiatives, ensuring project risks are managed and documented
3. Business Analysis responsibilities - documentation of business processes and key stakeholder management
4. Conduct finance change workshops internally
5. Design solutions to support ongoing finance change initiatives
6. Work alongside IT, Tech & Change, and Operations teams to implement changes to the finance data process
7. Focus on standardising finance processes, controls, reporting, and reconciliations across the company

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Qualified Accountant with industry or practical insurance accounting experience
2. Highly analytical, able to interpret complex financial data
3. Strong track record of successful financial project management
