Qualifications

  • Must be CCAB or CIMA qualified.
  • Significant experience in financial planning, analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in the housing or not-for-profit sector is a plus.

Salary : 66,200 per annum

Contract : Permanent Full Time

Your week : 36.25 (Monday – Friday 9am – 5.15pm)

Location : Hybrid – Rushden, Milton Keynes, Peterborough, Boston and availability to travel between. Minimum 1 day a week

We are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to support the Head of Repairs Assets and Growth to lead the business partnering function with the Finance Business Partnering Assets Team, providing financial insight, challenge and support to internal stakeholders.

Snapshot of your role

This role will ensure the delivery of high‑quality and timely financial reporting and analysis whilst managing and developing a team of Finance Business Partners and Assistant Finance Business Partners. The successful candidate will act as a senior link between Finance and the wider business, building strong relationships, delivering financial insight and enabling informed decision‑making that supports Amplius strategic objectives and ensures financial control and sustainability.

This role covers Rushden, Milton Keynes, Peterborough, Boston and availability to travel between. Minimum 1 day a week in one of our offices but as the role requires. Full Team attendance once a month is required generally in Peterborough.

What we’re looking for
  • Qualified to CCAB or CIMA
  • Experienced in leading a high performing team and managing and developing finance teams
  • Significant experience in financial planning, analysis and reporting
  • Strong understanding of budget setting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Experience of working with senior stakeholders to influence decision‑making
  • Technical accounting and financial reporting skills
  • Experience in the housing or not‑for‑profit sector is desirable but not essential
