An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Environment & Waste Development Officer to join the Environment and Waste, Programme and Resources team at Leicestershire County Council (LCC).
The successful candidate will lead on the development of new opportunities and projects through effective relationship management, joint working, project management and commissioning.
They would support the identification and initiation of new capital and revenue projects on behalf of the Environment & Waste Branch, by engaging with stakeholders, analysing data, and creating business cases.
We are looking for someone with a proven track‑record in recognising new opportunities for service improvement and efficiencies, and an ability to capitalise on these opportunities by developing and sometimes managing projects.
The ideal candidate will have excellent relationship management and communication skills, and experience of analysing and interpreting complex information.
