I'm working with a leading insurer that's looking for a dynamic Senior Underwriter with a strong background in engineering, construction and / or renewable energy. What you'll be doing :

• Building strong relationships with Brokers and clients, handling queries and providing technical support
• Driving new business, while retaining and developing existing accounts
• Acting as a trusted technical authority within the team.
• Mentoring and coaching colleagues to support their growth
• Shaping underwriting strategy and delivering customer-focused solutions

What I'm looking for :

• Proven underwriting experience in engineering, construction and / or renewable energy
• A strong track record of winning and retaining business
• Excellent trading, communication and negotiation skills
• Confidence operating within a regulated environment
• Someone ambitious, collaborative and keen to step up as a leader
