Senior Design Engineer - Temporary Works Engineering Department

Permanent, Manchester. Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 + Benefits package.

This temporary works specialist company based on the outskirts of Manchester is seeking to employ a Senior Design Engineer on a permanent basis. The projects are complex and include both above‑ground and below‑ground support schemes. In addition to leading the design work, you will manage junior team members and support Associates in their endeavours.

The projects you will work on will include facade retention, needling and propping, larger basement propping, plan bracing and crash decks.

We are looking for an engineer who has a good understanding of these project types, the confidence to apply engineering judgment, and the confidence to influence design delivery. You should have a thorough understanding of embedded retaining wall design and be comfortable using a range of design software.
