A local government authority in Sutton is seeking a candidate to support the Principal Engineer in managing the design team and delivering various highway and transportation schemes. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing team members and advising clients on technical design queries, alongside strong skills in technical design processes and traffic data analysis. To support the Principal Engineer to manage the design team and deliver a range of highway and transportation schemes.
The Design team includes a range of grades from Team Lead, Principal Engineer, Senior, Engineer, Graduate, Technician and Apprentices. The wider Design & Delivery team is approximately 30 staff and includes Street Lighting, TMOs, Planned Maintenance, Vehicle Crossovers and Surveys.
