Senior Employment Solicitor (5+ PQE)

Salary: £78,000 - £85,000. Location: Manchester.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Employment Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join a successful employment law team, advising on a range of complex contentious and non-contentious matters. You'll manage your own caseload, lead high-value matters, and support the growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on employment matters including tribunal litigation, discrimination, whistleblowing, restructures and TUPE
  • Advise on employment relations, HR policies and business change projects
  • Draft and negotiate employment documentation including settlement and service agreements
  • Manage client relationships and deliver commercially focused legal advice
  • Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to team development
  • Support business development initiatives
Requirements
  • Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in employment law
  • Strong experience in contentious and advisory employment work
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and client management skills
  • Commercially aware with strong organisational abilities
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
