Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the complete electronic product design lifecycle.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electronic products ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Participate in the complete product lifecycle from concept to production.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the design process.

Skills

3-5+ years industry experience
Experience in the full product design lifecycle from concept
Experience of board level design and mixed signal electronics
Experience in microcontroller, mixed analogue and digital circuit designs
Practical experience in Schematics Capture, Layout and PCB layout knowledge
Experience with Altium or other PCB design tools
Network interfaces - SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485
Good understanding of Design for test (DFT) & Design Manufacturing (DFM)
Experience of product compliance & Safety - EMC, LVD, CE Marking
Debugging, simulation and validation of electronic and system designs
Experience of creating and maintaining technical documentation
Electrical / electronic engineering experience in an industrial environment
Good communication and team work skills

Job title: Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Due to ongoing success and development in which additional work and investment in the coming years for the Glasgow business office and the R&D road map a world Class engineering organization based in Glasgow (Scotland) who are a Global Leaders in sectors for Electronics, Industrial, Instrumentation and many more are now actively seeking to hire for 2 Senior Electronics Design Engineers to join the organisation on a permanent basis. This Electronics Design Engineering role is ideal for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer or a mid-level Electronics Design Engineer who is looking for career progression, is ready and able to demonstrate their motivations to move to the senior position.

Work arrangement

3-4 days working onsite and rest WFH is available. Relocation assistance & Sponsorship is also provided.

Salary

The salary on offer for the successful Senior Electronics Design Engineer is £45,000-£60,000 per annum.
