Overview

Job Title: Senior Electrical Project Manager

Location: Cambridge

About the company:

A leading M&E contractor, part of a large group company who specialise in delivery large M&E installation projects from £10m - £150m predominantly in the Commercial Office, Data Centre and media space.

Due to successfully securing a large new build commercial office development in Cambridge, they require an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join and lead a team of Managers to delivery part of this £250m scheme.

Role Overview

Lead the Electrical team and oversee Electrical installations design phase through to completion

Project planning, resource allocation, cost management ensuring timely delivery.

Collaborate with internal and external teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to achieve project goals

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance across design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes
  • Add value to the design process by challenging solutions and methods to improve buildability, reduce costs, and lower carbon impact
  • Develop and implement effective project controls, ensuring best practice
  • Capture lessons learned and sharing insights across the business to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead on programme management from development through to monitoring, including building contingency plans for your allocated work packages.
