Overview

Senior Electrical Engineer – Thames Valley Region. 18-24 month contract.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical safety on site, liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, internal teams, and design consultants.
• Review and approve subcontractor safety documentation.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
• Interact with the project team to support the concept design through to construction, delivery, and project close-out.
• Collaborate with the mechanical and commissioning teams to ensure a seamless transition across disciplines and work packages.
• Represent the company as the client liaison at team meetings and in-person discussions.
• Manage changes on site, working with the commercial team to differentiate between the contract scope and requested changes.
• Inform the programme/planner about risks and durations, working on multiple schemes in both waste and potable water projects.

• Extensive experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer, preferably in the water industry.
• Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with the latest industry regulations and best practices.
• Holds a valid CSCS card, with additional certifications (e.g., First Aid) being desirable.
